

Tension spring
Also known as Extension springs, they are coils wound with wire, wrapped in coils together to create tension. Tension springs generally have hooks, or end coils, that are pulled out and shaped from each end of the body to assemble into function. The function of a tension spring is to provide prolonged force when the spring is separated from its original length.

Use
Tension springs are used in trampolines, push and pull levers, swing horses, screen door, and any other place where an extension force is required.
