Electrostatic painting

Electrostatic painting is a type of powder coating that is used to paint a variety of pieces, providing unmatched quality. Its name refers to electricity, which is why an electrical charge to adhere to surfaces. In addition, in the electrostatic painting process, it provides the static charge to the paint that will be applied to the object that is grounded.

It is applied by means of an electrostatic spraying process using a gun. This gun performs an electrostatic charge on the dust particles that cause them to be attracted to the surface. It is a liquid-free paint that allows you to apply layers of different thickness depending on the desired material or finish.

Electrostatic paint is cured by heat in what are known as curing ovens. This allows the particles to solidify forming a solid, resistant finish that is much more durable than liquid paint.

We apply powder paint 180 microns thick and finish with a 220 ºC oven cure. In this way we make sure to offer the best results to our clients.
