The Zinc Phosphating process is a chemical conversion of the surface substrate of the steel that, through a weak acid attack, produces a light layer of phosphates on the surface itself. It is applied in a drum system (drum) and frame (static) with medium thicknesses from 02 to 8 microns achieving an aesthetic appearance that can vary from gray to black.
